COVID-19

We are open at Alert Level 2

 Palmerston North

We still have contact restrictions in place for Level 2. This means we’ll help you over the phone first (scripts, medical questions, support, counselling) and make an appointment to see you in person when needed.

We’re not able to start the walk-in clinic at level 2 so please contact us first, rather than coming to YOSS without an appointment

🖐 Hand sanitiser is compulsory on the way in and out of YOSS
🕵🏻 You will need to provide your contact details for contact tracing-by using the QR code at YOSS and check in and out using this code. You use the free Rippl app to do this

Here’s what we’re doing to keep young people, whānau, the YOSS team and our suppliers safe 💚

📲Behind the scenes at YOSS
~We are cleaning our surfaces and spaces at YOSS after every person we see in the building
~We sterilise our equipment on site ...
~We are contactless as much as we can - no paper, no toys, no magazines, no waiting room, no touching door handles
~We have electronic contact tracing for young people using the free Rippl app
~We have oodles of hand sanitiser (and are waiting for our contactless dispenser)
~We have space for 1 metre physical distancing inside our building and 2 metres outside of our building

🥰The Team
~Our staff have all had flu vaccines
~Some of our staff are still working from home
~No one is at work if they are sick with cold or flu symptoms, or had a confirmed, suspected or self-isolated Covid-19 contact
~We are well stocked with masks, gloves and PPE gear
~We have all had training on hand hygiene and wearing masks
~We have closed our staff room
~We restrict one person to be in our staff kitchen at a time, no use of communal cups or utensils
~We do not have any meetings in-person of 10 or more people
~Each staff member is assigned to a team wharepaku
~We have electronic contact tracing for all staff, visitors and suppliers using the Rippl app
~Our team follows all of the Covid-19 restrictions for alert level two at work and at home.
