Covid and YOSS

If you have an appointment

Please don't come to YOSS if you are sick - have cold or flu like symptoms. Please contact us first.

📏 We will have physical distancing of 2 metres (if you’re seeing a nurse or doctor this might not be practical so we’ll talk to you about how we keep you safe)
😷 You will be required to wear a surgical mask
🖐 Hand sanitiser is compulsory on the way in and out of YOSS
🕵🏻 You will need to answer our covid screening questions
😷 We will be wearing masks and sometimes gloves

Behind the scenes

  • We are cleaning our surfaces and spaces at YOSS after every person we see in the building
  • We sterilise our equipment on site
  • We are contactless as much as possible - no paper, no toys, no magazines, no waiting room, no touching door handles
  • We have electronic contact tracing using the government covid app
  • We have oodles of hand sanisier
  • We have space for 2 metres physical distancing inside and outside our building

Our staff

  • All YOSS staff have had the covid vaccine. 100%
  • Some of our staff are still working from home
  • No one is at work if they are sick with cold or flu symptoms, or have had a confirmed, suspected, or self-isolated covid contact
  • We are well stocked with masks, gloves, and other PPE gear
  • We have all had training on hand hygiene and wearing masks
  • We have closed our staff room
  • We restrict one person to be in our staff kitchen at a time, no use of communal cups or utensils
  • Our team follows all of the covid restrictions for all alert levels at work and at home

Please stay at home,

wash your hands,

and be kind
