Covid and YOSS
If you have an appointment
Please don't come to YOSS if you are sick - have cold or flu like symptoms. Please contact us first.
๐ We will have physical distancing of 2 metres (if you’re seeing a nurse or doctor this might not be practical so we’ll talk to you about how we keep you safe)
๐ท You will be required to wear a surgical mask
๐ Hand sanitiser is compulsory on the way in and out of YOSS
๐ต๐ป You will need to answer our covid screening questions
๐ท We will be wearing masks and sometimes gloves
Behind the scenes
- We are cleaning our surfaces and spaces at YOSS after every person we see in the building
- We sterilise our equipment on site
- We are contactless as much as possible - no paper, no toys, no magazines, no waiting room, no touching door handles
- We have electronic contact tracing using the government covid app
- We have oodles of hand sanisier
- We have space for 2 metres physical distancing inside and outside our building
Our staff
- All YOSS staff have had the covid vaccine. 100%
- Some of our staff are still working from home
- No one is at work if they are sick with cold or flu symptoms, or have had a confirmed, suspected, or self-isolated covid contact
- We are well stocked with masks, gloves, and other PPE gear
- We have all had training on hand hygiene and wearing masks
- We have closed our staff room
- We restrict one person to be in our staff kitchen at a time, no use of communal cups or utensils
- Our team follows all of the covid restrictions for all alert levels at work and at home
